Class Descriptions:
Jazz - Jazz technique, strengthening, progressions and jazz dance choreography within an hour class.
Tap - Class consists of warm-up, progressions, and combinations. Make music with your feet!
Ballet - The foundation and backbone of dance! This class includes barre work and center work. Posture, flexibility, control and poise are emphasized. Recommended for all dancers!
Pre-Pointe - This class is needed to work towards being "en pointe". Work on strengthening feet, ankles, calves and core.
Pointe - An extension of ballet where dancers must show proper technique and strength to receive an invitation to be "en pointe".
Contemporary/Lyrical - A fusion of movement and technique. Learning to express and tell a story through a dance.
Hip Hop - A fast paced and energetic class. Hip hop tricks and fun choreography. This is a great class to add!
Acro- Acro Dance is an art form that incorporates the fluid movements of dance with the exciting tricks from acrobatics.
Students develop specific strength, flexibility and technique, to learn how to execute acrobatic tricks, to then be used in dance choreography.
The training students receive in their acro dance classes helps to reinforce the technique in all other dance genres.
Adding acro dance is next-level training that will develop a specific skill set, and creates well-rounded and versatile dancers.
Stretch & Conditioning - Get a dancers workout and work on strengthening muscles that will help you become a stronger dancer. Also included in the class is time for stretching, to gain more flexibility.
